Good Friday Service on 3rd April 2026

St. John’s Church observed Good Friday with a solemn and prayerful gathering from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM under the leadership of Reverend P. K. Nanda.

The service included readings from the Holy Scriptures, meditative hymns, and reflections on the Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross. Special intercessions were offered for peace, healing, and spiritual renewal. Reverend Nanda’s message highlighted sacrifice, grace, and the boundless mercy of Christ, urging the congregation to walk in faith and love.

Maundy Thursday

On 2nd April 2026,from 5 PM St. John’s Church observed Maundy Thursday with a solemn and reflective service, led by Reverend P. K. Nanda.

The congregation gathered to remember the Last Supper of Christ with His disciples, participating in scripture readings, meaningful hymns, and the Holy Communion. The service also included a symbolic act of humility, recalling Jesus’ washing of the disciples’ feet, emphasizing love, service, and selflessness.

In his message, Reverend Nanda reflected on the commandment of love and the call to serve one another with compassion and grace. He encouraged the faithful to embrace humility in their daily lives and to follow Christ’s example of sacrificial love.

Palm Sunday Service 29/03/26

On 15th August 2025, St. John’s Church joyfully celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with deep pride and reverence. The program commenced in the church courtyard, where The Reverend P. K. Nanda, along with distinguished guests, unfurled the national flag. The congregation joined in singing the national anthem, their voices echoing with patriotic spirit and devotion to the nation. Special prayers were offered for India’s progress, unity, and peace, followed by a meaningful address by Father Nanda highlighting the values of freedom, sacrifice, and responsibility.
